With NFL mini camps off to a whirling start in the early months of July Dolphins fans all over the country and in the sunshine state are speculating where the team will end up concluding the 2010 season. Well bloggers you heard it here first, the 2010 Dolphins will not win a game in their upcoming season. Read below to find out my reasoning, and yes it is all factual information.

1) Serena Williams, Jimmy Buffet, J Lo and Marc Anthony are just a few who have stake in partial ownership of the team, who’s next?… Lady Gaga… The owners becoming more worried about the spectacle surrounding the game rather than the team on the field is one reason why these fish will flounder.

2) Chad Henne, the big bad Michigan alum will take the reins as the full-time starter, this proven vet definitely bodes well for the fins who have many questions surrounding various aspects of the team…. NOT!!! Chad Henne is about as unproven as Jamarcus Russell was when he was taken first overall by the Oakland Raiders a few seasons ago. We all know what ended up happening with that hamburglar experiment, (here is a little sip sip in cell block 29 refresher). Ohh well maybe the Fins could throw Ronnie Brown back there, after all he does have better career #’s in INT’s and a better QB rating. (o INTS vs Henne’s 14 … 101.2 rating vs Henne’s meager 75.2) .

3) Brandon Marshall aka TO v.2 aka team killer will be added to a cast who could not handle the outspokenness of Joey Porter. Brandon Marshall’s “I come first” mentality will be to much to handle for a team trying to figure out its own identity. Bill Parcells: “Are we a throwing team with a good run game, or are we a good ground team with a quality receiver? What buffet am I eating for lunch?” The fins a run-first orientated team will not blend well with Marshall’s attitude and NO Karlos Dansby is not enough to save them… Ohhh well at least he can take some comfort in the fact he is getting paid like a top WR in the game, to bad he will not be utilized like one.

4) (Insert) Slew of other reasons which can not be disclosed at this time in fear of Boom’s crystal ball being stolen, or smashed apart by angry Fins’ fans. Stay tuned for more factual reasons why the fins will flounder in 2010.

My crystal ball insight does not lie kiddies. Laugh now but come December when the above factors take effect and 0-16 is a reality you will look back on this article and realize BOOM told you so … YESS!!!!

Brandon Marshall skips Dolphins practice, but not due to bad behavior.

Newly acquired wide-receiver Brandon Marshall was unable to compete in the Miami Dolphins practice held on Wednesday, May 19th. But hold your breath Dolphins fans; it was due to injury. Marshall has sat out practices in the past due to questionable behavior, but this one was due to an undisclosed injury. While he was working out on an exercise bike, Marshall was trying to pick up all the information he could.

The Dolphins will need Marshall to pick up all that information and produce another 1,000-yard season. In a division with the Jets, who made it to last year’s AFC Championship, and the Patriots, who are always a threat, it will not be an easy upcoming season for Miami. If Marshall is not on his best behavior, then the Dolphins will have little change of success. Even if Marshall is on good behavior, the Dolphins still have their work cut out for them. But if Marshall can excel, then who knows what could be in store for the Dolphins this season.

Before the split, Miami sent in a request for permission to interview Nolan, sources close to the situation told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter. The parting was friendly and gave Nolan a chance to move on and talk to the Dolphins, the source told Clayton.

The Dolphins fired defensive coordinator Paul Pasqualoni and have struggled to find a quick replacement. The Dolphins' interest in Nolan apparently opened the door for the chance for Nolan to get to Miami.

With Ronnie Brown lost for the season, the Miami Dolphins turned to their aging running back. Ricky Williams showed he's still got it. The 32-year-old Williams rushed for 119 yards and scored three touchdowns, and the Dolphins beat the Carolina Panthers 24-17 on Thursday night for their fourth win in six games to get into the AFC playoff picture.

A day after learning Brown is lost for the season to a foot injury, the Dolphins (5-5) continued their surge after an 0-3 start behind Williams. The 2002 NFL rushing champion had a receiving and rushing touchdown in the same game for the first time in his career that included a couple of lost seasons.

"Coach always talks about finishing," Williams said. "Sometimes in this league, in a physical game, it's difficult to finish. I think in the past we've prided ourselves on finishing games and we did a good job tonight."

We all know Joey Porter can have a potty mouth that keeps everyone not wearing a Jets uniform entertained. But in the Sports Illustrated that hits the stands and mailboxes Wednesday, we learn Porter has a dirty reputation, also. In a poll of 296 NFL players, Porter tied Washington's Albert Haynesworth as the second dirtiest player in the league.

Six percent of players who responded said Porter and Haynesworth were the dirtiest. Pittsburgh Steelers receiver Hines Ward, the master of the blind side block, garnered 11.6 percent of the votes to be considered the dirtiest player in the NFL.

Rex Ryan designed the Baltimore defense that caused Miami headaches twice last season. He brings the same tenacious defense to the Jets. A rookie quarterback supported by a strong running game and a Rex Ryan-coached defense that fools you, then floors you. These Dolphins have seen this cast of characters twice before in 2008 season movies burned onto hard drives, DVDs and memories all over the Dolphins facility.

Movies in which the Dolphins were forced into the victim's role.

Change the color scheme and the Jets resemble Baltimore, Dolphins conquerors in the regular season (27-13) and the playoffs (27-9) last year. Both games starred the Ravens defense, a unit that combined excessive talent with confounding concepts. Ryan, Baltimore's defensive coordinator from 2005-08, brought the latter with him to the Jets.

Like the Ravens, who started quarterback Joe Flacco as a rookie last season, the Jets are led by rookie Matt Sanchez. Both are backed by strong ground games.

``They're running all the same stuff that we saw twice last year,'' Dolphins running back Patrick Cobbs said. ``That's probably the best advantage we have is that we saw it twice last year.''
